Who Inspires You?
I really hadn’t thought of this much until I read a blog post of the same name from Presentation Zen. Who of course linked to this great Sir Ken Robinson video.
So the blog post and the video got me thinking. Who (or what, etc.) inspires you?
Who: My Wife, God Daughter, Seth Godin,
What: The ocean, baseball, opportunities for change
Where: Bali, South Africa, Seattle
When: When I least want to be or expect it
Why: Inspiration leads to happiness
How: Think deep, think often, listen, connect, fail

Who:My husband & son,people like Jeff who embrace change, Tolle, children
What:Good music, open minded people,watching my son play soccer, beautifully written words,reading…and my iPhone because it allows me to connect to people. (I had to include one materialistic thing.)
Where:Everywhere…there is inspiration everywhere…if we just look for it.
When:When I am in the present moment.
Why:Inspiration keeps you moving.
How:Finding the space between my thoughts.

As we talking about inspiration, I have a theme of my blog called CI – challenge and inspire. I have collected quotes, phrases, stories, memories and odd and sods…. today I read a poem, it inspired me and I am sharing with you.
Tomorrow’s Child
Without a name; an unseen face
and knowing not your time nor place
Tomorrow’s Child, though yet unborn,
I met you first last Tuesday morn.
A wise friend introduced us two,
and through his sobering point of view
I saw a day that you would see;
a day for you, but not for me
Knowing you has changed my thinking,
for I never had an inkling
That perhaps the things I do
might someday, somehow, threaten you
Tomorrow’s Child, my daughter-son
I’m afraid I’ve just begun
To think of you and of your good,
Though always having known I should.
Begin I will to weigh the cost
