Just recieved an invitatiion from an ex-student to join this site www.sms.ac
By the looks of it you can sign up to send 5 free text messages to cell phones each day. The great part is you can send them to any phone in the world. So I’m here in China and a friend in the states can send me a free SMS via this web site. I’ve got to investage this some more.
One educational use that comes to mind is:
You forgot to remind students of their test tomorrow, so you go to sms.ac and you text all 100 students by only writing one text message.
If this site does what it claims to do, there could be some educational power here.
