(As I promised Kim….full credit for her on the title of this post.)

There is no one size fits all when it comes to education.

There are many different approaches to the same solution.

Technology is no different.

There is no “Killer App” that does it all and does it well.

There is not one tool that you can learn and be done with.

There are different tools for different solutions.

There are different tools for different learning outcomes.

There is no spork for education.

The cynical side of me thinks that unfortunately too often there are sporks for education, but we call them “lectures.”

Good. I’m not a big fan of the spork.

My daughter seems to enjoy her skorts though.

Just like for education or technology….

The spork isn’t really good at skewering your lettuce,
and it lets the soup spill through the cracks.

…so it’s no good for food either

Now the skort, that’s all together different. It’s right up there with fingerless gloves.
