Great Post. It is reassuring to me to know that someone else has done the gatorade, seeds and routines. The things you learn about people from reading blogs. I wish I had known you knew the game,we would have had you pitch to the SEA majors. I read both your post to my boys.

Great post! I'm here in Boston for a conference and actually got a tour of Fenway Park. Unfortunately they're season opener is not until next week after I'm gone (not that I would even be able to get tickets since they are sold out!) It was interesting to see all the history in that small field!

Bravo, Jeff. Good to know there's still some romanticism left around baseball. Go Yanks!

What a lovely post! I've been thinking a bit about Dads lately (see <a href="http://karynromeis.blogspot.com/2008/03/dont-write-anyone-off.html" rel="nofollow">my post</a> from yesterday).

Like all living things, I had a father, but he hadn't intended to become a Dad, and my arrival was both unexpected and unwelcome. My sister and I grew up without him. Fortunately I had better taste in the husband line, and my boys have a wonderful Dad, much like your own.

Treasure your Dad and emulate his fine example with your own children - it will be the greatest compliment you can pay him.

Love it...has The Game made a comeback? Heard opening day numbers were huge. Are we trusting baseball again after the steroids era?

Go Dodgers!
