Shameless self promotion

This is so strange for me to be writing. My first ever article to be actually published in print has come out this month in Technology & Learning. Although I haven’t actually seen the print version yet…others have told me that they actually did print it.

I am not a writer and have never claimed to be. In fact I’m probably the farthest thing from a writer anyone can be.

This is just crazy. People actually care what I write, what I have to say…not only that someone was crazy enough to publish it, and crazy enough to ask me to write more.

Where is this coming from? Where is this all going?

….who cares!

Congratulations. Enjoy your moment, Jeff – you’ve earned it! And of course you’re a writer – what else has been appearing in your blog all this time? Scotch mist?

Congratulations. This article came out at a perfect time I’ve had several peers ask me about how to do blogs. Now instead of digging through old notes I can just refer them to this article. Perfect timing, as always.

I have seen it and I can confirm you are indeed in there, with some really nice artwork that gives the impression that you know what you are talking about!

      Just kidding, congratulations. Dave

      Hi Jeff,

I’ll just add my congratulations for this excellent article. Something about appearing in print that adds to one’s gravitas – even in the Web 2.0 world. Thanks for choosing L&L in which to publish and I hope we see more articles from you.

      All the best,

      Doug

      Jeff!

Congrats! Nothing like being in print on REAL paper to make one feel like a real adult. For that I say “I am so sorry” —- smile!

Way to go! You amaze me and make me proud to be your friend and colleague!

Your article “Blogs Are Not the Enemy” served as an inspriation to me. I had pulled back from my desire to blog with my students. I had even stopped blogging myself. I figured I would wait until next year while I spent the summer reading and learning more. Then, I read your article. It re-energized me. I designed a lesson for my students and things took off. The last three days have been amazing because I have gotten reponses from one of the authors of a blog my students visited and I heard from Vicki Davis.

      Wow!

Your article presented me with the right information at the right time.

Congratulations on being published. May your work continue to help and inspire others.
