Recess is a good thing

Sometimes people will tell me “There’s more to life than computers and technology.” Of course I know that. There are times when a computer just can’t compete. Like today, it’s 75 degrees outside and the Pre-K and Kindergarten kids have been working on this for two days now.

Sometimes a little chalk, a nice sunny day, and just time to create is all we need.

I watched the boy in this picture as he looked at his hands which were all blue and then put them to his checks and rubbed them, turning his checks blue. He looked at his hands again and then started laughing. There is something about watching a child laugh that just makes you join in.

Sure there is more to life than computers, but without computers I wouldn’t be able to share this with you. 😉
