OK, this could be dangerous! I went through and geo tagged some of my pictures of Shanghai on my flickr map. Way to much fun trying to find the buildings and such. This map is REALLY old. Not sure how old, but our apartment is a construction zone and it was built in 2001, so at least that old. My school (The 9 pictures on the cost line) is only the elementary school. The 1 picture way off to the west is our other campus. Helps to give you a little perspective of where our two campuses are. I’ve posted some pictures of downtown and put our apartment on the map. Now to upload the pictures from our travels and really make this map cool.

I’m thinking social studies here. Studying Greece, go see what pictures are there, how about Egypt? Need a picture of the Great Wall (I’ll have mine up soon).

Flickr rocks!

I started blogging in 2005 and found it such a powerful way to reflect and share my thinking about technology, this generation, and how we prepare students for their future not our past.
