Looking forward to L2.009, Jeff.

Thanks for sharing a wonderful conference with so many -- both there and virtually.

I enjoy looking at the pictures.....especially of those with the kiwi (smiles, shows you someone thought in advance of bringing a part of the conference back with her kids!!)

The NING was a HUGE part of the success of the conference. Having people sharing their notes, their reflections, their interpretations of what they just heard IN ONE LOCATION was great. Was this done for the unconference sessions as well..........(to be honest, I have not looked yet!)

I was lucky enough to be able to attend 6 sessions of L2.008, yet being over 6,000 miles away. Because of ustream and skype, I was able to be a part. But because of the notes, I can enjoy all the sessions too!

Thanks for all you did....thanks to the kids in red (I know they worked hard too).....and I look forward to next year.

I love your pictures - I have some great memories too. One favourite photo was taken from the back of the auditorium down over the conference attendees and not one laptop monitor is showing the same screen! And these could well be the educators that complain that students are 'surfing' while they are trying to tell/teach them something. I thought it was hilarious.

For me though it emphasised that many of us need to go and see a website being talked about - that being a passive learner is difficult and not the way WE prefer to learn. Hmmmm.

I need to comment about the kiwi in the photos. As a Kiwi who was present I am very upset that I didn't get to see the kiwi there! Is there a story behind his/her presence?
