I partner with organizations in helping to understand the changing nature of learning by working together in long-term, embedded professional development that prepares us all for our future, not our past.

Happy Year of the Dog!

(Computer problems…this was suppose to be posted on Jan. 29)

My mother-in-law and sister-in-law flew in on Friday to spend the Chinese New Year break with us. (A week vacation…gotta love that!) I rented us all a room down at the Shangri-La which overlooks the Bund. The amount of fireworks that went up in smoke between 11:30 and 12:30 was amazing. People had told us what to expect, but no matter what someone says you can not be prepared for what we witnessed. Thanks to my sister-in-law Amber for some amazing pictures. Happy Year of the Dog to everyone!

I started blogging in 2005 and found it such a powerful way to reflect and share my thinking about technology, this generation, and how we prepare students for their future not our past.
