GREAT. Very well done - nice glimpse into your day, but also some Shanghai culture there as well. Thanks for sharing!

What an awesome movie! Even my hubby watched it with me (which he usually never does!). It was fun to see Shanghai because we were there in 2000. I like how you did the google maps with the video inset. Can't wait to see more!

Very clever Jeff (love the 24 connection!) and for a first attempt at iMovie, you have done exceptionally well! It has become more apparent to me lately that the more authentic the context is for a "movie", the more likely it is that our students will produce something worthy of sharing regardless of how "raw" their technical skills are. Technical skills can always be improved.

[...] The Thinking Stick wrote an interesting post today on Episode 1: A Day in the LifeHere’s a quick excerpt More and more teachers are wanting to use video in their class, and are asking students to create videos for projects. We have one mac lab and will be getting another mac lab next year. The problem is I’ve never created a video using iMovie so my support for these projects was not where I like it to be. So, last week I set out to teach myself iMovie. First up I needed a project. Inspired by Dean Shareski’s A Day in the Life video I decided to use that as my project for learning iMovie.
