I think at some point we as Americans have felt ashamed, but never did I feel ashamed because George W. Bush was our president. Like him or not, he always did what he felt was right. As president, that is all I can ask of him. Of course he made mistakes. Barack will make mistakes. There is no such thing as a perfect leader. I have great optimism about the next 4 and possibly 8 years under President Obama. I truly think he will do a great job. I think in some ways he was needed to do some healing in our country.
