I partner with organizations in helping to understand the changing nature of learning by working together in long-term, embedded professional development that prepares us all for our future, not our past.

Bloglines Account

I’ve been meaning to open up a bloglines account for awhile now but haven’t found the time to actually do it. Then John Pederson goes and makes a nice little wiki about getting started with bloglines and blog reading. He recommends 20 edublogs to get newbie teachers into the edublogging world. I was honored to find The Thinking Stick among the 20 blogs that John recommends. Thank you for that John!

So, I followed John’s notes and opened up my bloglines account and started it off by importing the 20 accounts that John recommends. It’s a great start for any teacher, a nice range of blogs (some I hadn’t found yet) dealing with many aspects of blogging in education. So now you can view my blogroll at http://www.bloglines.com/public/jutecht

I started blogging in 2005 and found it such a powerful way to reflect and share my thinking about technology, this generation, and how we prepare students for their future not our past.
