A new voice with talent

There’s a new blog among us. Beyond School: Kicking Addictions to 20th Century Teaching–Because “Gutenberg is dead.”

I worked with Clay Burell last year here at SAS. He now works in South Korea and joins the blogosphere will a bunch of ideas for web 2.0 collaborative projects. If you are a teacher looking to do some cross worldly projects, check out some of the ideas Clay is pushing around on his new space. He has recently made a pitch and gotten approval from his administration to “do things differently.”

Welcome Clay to the edublogosphere!

      Well thanks, Jeff (blush).

And what a coincidence! I just groaned when I realized I hadn’t linked this “Makes-Me-Think Stick” blog to my blog’s blogroll–I really did groan aloud, alone–then added it, then thought,

“Heck, I’m going to post a public apology to Jeff on my blog for the oversight. He launched me what, 2 years ago?, on this trajectory (direction unknown), and like a bonehead I put U Tech Tips but not the Stick on my roll. Oy freakin’ vay.

Thanks for the kind words–and really (second, very sincere, blush), for transforming me professionally far more than anyone in my career.

Funny how far away Moodle seems these days! 😉

      Keep jamming!
